I bought thr tallest one they had whcih was 18inch. With the mattress on it I need s step stool to get into and out of bed.
Otherwise it's great, plenty of room underneath for storage which was the point, and it is very atrudy, I'm a big guy and I actually trust this bed. Best under $100 purchase I've ever made .
This bed is great. Bought 2 to replace my kids existing beds. They are easy to put together, very durable and sturdy. The amount of storage space underneath is great!!! We plan on purchasing a queen size soon to replace our existing frame as well. Very happy with this purchase.
I put the frame together myself. Easy to read instructions. It's very sturdy and has some weight to it but I am able to move it one scoot at a time. I have a memory foam mattress and the mattress slides on the smooth rails. I added a rug pad and it's all good now. You can fit a 18 gallon tote underneath with plenty of clearance.

I had purchased another brand, that has the bars that go on the floor, across this one is nice I can slide things under it, my only complaint is the other need came with double sided tape so the mattress wouldn't slip , So it slips horribly got to buy tape
